Chocolate Brownie Batter Overnight Oats

These oats are likely to be one of the most popular bowl of oats you ever did make, with your friends, family and of course your good self! Β Thick, chocolaty, and positively dreamy.

They are for the chocolate lover in your life; I am without a shadow a doubt the person most committed to chocolate that I know. Giving up chocolate, or feeling the need to abstain is not something I’d ever entertain.

Having used stevia sweetened Pulsin Chocolate Protein in the mix, I prefer to save my maple syrup for drizzling on top, but feel free to add it to the mix if you fancy a sweeter mouthful throughout.

I generally prefer oats that have been left to cool a little and turn cake like or that have been mixed up with yogurt, dairy free for me, for a creamy thick consistency that still retains a little texture.

This truly is a bowl of pure bliss. I topped mine with some seriously drippy, made for drizzling peanut butter, an extra dollop of dairy free yogurt to cut through the richness of the chocolate, cacao nibs for crunch and some juicy oozing thawed and slightly warmed strawberries.

By Serves: 1 Prep Time: 10 minutes


  • 70g oats
  • 15g raw cacao powder
  • 60g @nushfoods natural almond milk yogurt
  • 250ml water
  • 20g @pulsinandbeond chocolate pea protein
  • 10ml maple syrup (optional)*
  • 7g @linwoodshealthfoods milled chia seed



Blend together almond milk yogurt, cacao powder, pea protein, maple syrup if using* and water.


Mix wet ingredients with oats and milled chia.


Place into the fridge overnight.


Thin out with a little almond milk if desired. Top as you please... peanut butter and chocolate ganache or sauce come highly recommended!


*I prefer to drizzle some maple syrup on top!
