Coconut Apple… who knew there was such a thing! Natures Charm sent me a couple of cans of their coconut apple pudding and initially I just thought it had apple and coconut milk as the base. There is a little diagram on the tin which shows you the coconut apple which is the center most part of a mature germinating coconut!
It has a cool texture and flavour, soft with a little bite and works wonderful in the sweet coconut cream. You can literally eat it cold straight from the tin, serve it warm, mix it through or serve on top of oats, but I figured I’d make a little single serve crumble. I do love a single serve dessert recipe.
The crumble topping is so easy to whip up and you can either just heat the whole lot in the microwave, throw it into the oven for about 10 minutes, toast the topping in a pan and heat the base separately or have a mixture of hot and cold elements depending on your preference!
I served mine with a drizzle of Natures Charm salted caramel sauce which is a game changer!!!
