Vanilla Matcha Avocado Vitality Smoothie

A little more green goodness post Patrick’s Day. Green is actually one of my favourite colours. Green and orange, could I be any more patriotic!

The Food Medic kindly posted my green buckwheat crepes over on her site for Patrick’s Day, right here if you missed out on them!

You could go all out and have your smoothie bowl alongside your green crepes or have a green themed day… green oats before bed and just a mound of all the veggies for dinner. Clearly I’m in a funny mood as I write this post.

Generally me and smoothie bowls don’t go too well together but every now and then I just get a longing. If you don’t do well with large amounts of fruit this one is perfect. The avocado and frozen banana thicken it up beautifully and the new SuperShake blend from Pulsin also lends a helping hand as well as giving it a nice extra hit of sweetness from the vanilla and stevia.

Thick creamy deliciousness. The perfect breakfast when I’m craving ice cream / gelato just as the warmer weather begins to make an appearance!
